Simply get a peppermint tea from a teabag or make one by boiling 1 tablespoon of fresh peppermint leaves in a cup of water. Add a pinch of salt into the tea and rinse your mouth with the mixture. Peppermint contains menthol which helps alleviating pain upon contact with skin surfaces.

Don’t have aloe vera gel to relieve your sunburn? Have some plain yogurt lying around the refrigerator? Well you can use that as a temporary relief for your sunburn pain, since the yogurt has a lot of moisture and the coldness would soothe the burning skin. Don’t forget to rinse with cool water after that.

Maybe at one point you’re removing makeup, only to realize that you don’t have any left and no store opened late at night. Well don’t fret! Powdered milk works fine as well. Mix three tablespoons into 1/3 cup of warm water in a jar and shake well. You may need to add a little more water or powder to reach a certain consistency similar to heavy cream. Use a facecloth to apply the makeup remover. Make sure to wipe it off and rise with water when you’re done!
