The 6th National Early Childhood Intervention (NECI) Conference will be held at Pearl International Hotel in Kuala Lumpur from 24 to 26 November 2016 (Thursday to Saturday). The overriding theme for this year’s upcoming conference is “Embrace Diversity, Empower Families”. The event, a highlight in every special needs practitioner, professional and family’s calendar, is organised by the National Early Childhood Intervention Council, an organisation that aims to promote and emphasise effective early childhood intervention practices. You should attend the conference if you are a parent, family member or caregiver of a child with special needs; work with children with special needs and their families; or would like to understand more about disability issues in Malaysia.

This Conference aims to link practitioners and professionals from the health, education and social welfare sectors, parents of children with special needs, policy-makers and non-governmental organisations in interactive dialogues, networking and skills transfer.  Participants will hear from both international and local experts, passionate parents and practitioners through plenary sessions, practical workshops and interactive sessions.
