Hi, you should avoid junk foods especially fast foods. In addition, oily foods and foods which contained too much of sugar should also be avoided.

Hi there, I’ve been following your forum and I just wanna say thanks for all the tips. Is there any other drinks I should avoid if I’m trying to conceive?

Definitely you should never go for alcoholic drinks. Besides that, reduce your caffeine intake if you are a coffee addict as it increases the risk of miscarriage. Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water which are equivalent to 2L of water every day.

Can I know what is the ideal BMI to increase the chances of getting pregnant?

The ideal Body Mass Index (BMI) lies in between 19 to 24. Both underweight and overweight lead to difficulty to get pregnant. Always take care of your food intake and also go for exercises!

Hello there, congratulations! We are so happy to hear the good news from you. Pregnant women should avoid uncooked foods such as raw meant, raw egg, raw shellfish and so on. Avoid the intake of caffeine and alcohol too.

I noticed that you mentioned exercises are really good if we are trying to conceive. However I have a tight schedule and I can’t do heavy sports. Any other light exercises that you can recommend?

My friends suggest me to eat pork trotter with ginger and vinegar. Is it really good to my baby?

Hi Syahmimi, not to worry, a miscarriage would not affect your fertility 🙂

Hi Siew Fang, there are actually no scientific evidence on that 🙂 It is always recommended that you consult your doctor about your diet when you are pregnant.

Normally, IVF work best when you are young, the chance of getting pregnant at 35 years and above is lower. However, the chance of getting pregnant through IVF for your age is around 40%-50% in overall. You still have the hope, catch it up! Wish you a very good luck.
