Fruit-infused water: TRENDY & HEALTHY

Fruit-infused water is especially an interesting choice of beverage during the summer and tastes best when served chilled. It is a healthy alternative for everyone out there because you’re technically still drinking water but you also get loads of nutrients along with the refreshing taste from fruits! Fruit juice in general contains lots of sugar so it is better to consume the fruit as a whole to benefit from the fibre, making sugar absorption slower.

Making your own fruit-infused water is pretty simple actually; there’s no fixed rule in doing it. All you got to do is add in your favourite fruits or vegetables in any amount according to your liking, fill it with water and refrigerate for a few hours (by few I mean around 4 hours should do the trick). Just to give you a rough idea on what you could try, here are some recipes:

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and put in the fridge for 2-24 hours to allow the water to infuse; serve cold.
